The duo formed by composer Matt Park and pianist Stella Yang, Haze Soul, begins their first story. Their debut single “Good Morning, Soul” is a pleasant medium-tempo Jazz Funk track, breezy and refreshing like a gentle wind, capturing the excitement and lightness of greeting a new morning. The piano melody, pouring down like morning sunlight, blends with a rhythmical bassline to deliver a feel-good groove throughout the song. The title, “Good Morning, Soul,” is not only a sweet morning greeting to the ‘soul’ of a loving partner but also serves as the opening greeting to the world of ‘soul’-filled music the two will create together.
